Individual Riding Lessons, Horse Schooling and Therapy Packages

At KP Hestar we support you to develop your horse into a well balanced, powerful and supple riding partner. Our professional horse schoolings and individual riding lessons specifically address weaknesses and discomforts of your horse and are aimed to allow your horse to better feel at ease with itself.

It is important to us to enable you and your horse to continue with suitable exercises on your own and build up strength, confidence and skill over time.

We combine training exercises for you as a rider and your horse with physiotherapeutic and osteopathic techniques and treatments to reduce your horse's pain, improve its movement and restore normal muscle control for better motor performance and overall flexibility.

Our equine physiotherapy treatment includes massage, stretching and muscular activation to improve the flexibility and body tension of your horse. With osteopathic techniques like soft tissue mobilization (STM), cranial sacral therapy (CST) or visceral manipulation (VM), we identify and treat mobility restrictions and imbalances of your equine partner.

We also focus on early detection of movement restrictions, which may be indicative of stiffness, muscle imbalances or other musculoskeletal conditions, as this is important to help preventing the development or worsening of pain and loss of performance.

One of our principles is to not stop when the session with you and your horse has ended. Together we lay out an individual training plan so you can continue working with your horse using specific and individual exercises. Of course, we are still here to support you and offer you any help you need. Your horse deserves to become and stay a reliable and healthy riding partner.
