The Sómi offers a slim-fit saddle tree which is suitable for all who prefer a more narrow seating position.

The knee rolls of the Sómi are fitted to the shape of the flaps (only with fixed knee rolls) which provides a greater connection and communication with the horse without restricting movement.

Specifically engineered panels distribute the rider’s weight perfectly over the whole of the horse’s back.

This saddle is named after the Icelandic island Málmey which resembles the shape of a saddle tree. Similar to the Sómi, the Málmey saddle has a slim-fit saddle tree for a more narrow seating position. 

The purpose-built cantle is slightly lower compared to the other saddles and as such gives the rider a more spacious seat.

The Djarfur has a shallower seat allowing for more space for the rider. The design of the saddle tree ensures that the saddle is closer to the back of the horse and provides a wider seat but still keeping the rider and horse in close contact.

The knee rolls of the Djarfur saddle are formed anatomically and are available in two different sizes, enabling the rider to customise his/her support for his/her riding position.
